Come, poi, testimoniato dal White Paper 2020 sulla mobilità sostenibile ed i veicoli elettrici di Repower, le vendite annuali di veicoli elettrici nel mondo si attestano sulle 2 milioni di unità, con una concentrazione del 96% tra Cina, Europa, Stati Uniti e Giappone.
